Sustainability
For most companies, it’s a trending topic – for BÜSCHL it’s a moral obligation
Our philosophy
The building sector is the industry with the biggest ecological footprint – a fact that obliges the real estate industry to sit up and take action. Project developers and building contractors are duty-bound to protect the environment and the climate, to build in a resource-efficient way and, at the same time, to also fulfil their responsibility towards their fellow human beings. Here at the BÜSCHL Group, we want to fully integrate the ecological, social, and operational criteria (ESG criteria) into our daily business practices in the long term. For us, sustainability is an obligation rather than a trending topic, as well as key to gaining a competitive advantage over our competitors.
“Not only does the BÜSCHL Group strive to achieve ecological, economics, and social goals and principles in a responsible way, but we are also taking active measures to ensure a more sustainable future for society.”
ESG Bericht
The BÜSCHL group is setting new benchmarks for sustainable real estate development. The latest ESG brochure clearly shows that the company is taking on environmental, social, and corporate responsibility. With clear guidelines, innovative concepts, and a strong focus on environmental and climate protection, the BÜSCHL Group is showing what successful project development can look like – today and tomorrow.
Our ESG approach
In our pilot projects, we already work with interdisciplinary teams during the very early development and planning phases in order to meet the market’s ever-increasing sustainability requirements. Here we are guided by the requirements of the regulatory milestones of the EU Green Deal, EU taxonomy, and the disclosure regulations. An active dialogue with financial institutions to meet the increasing ESG requirements of the financial market rounds off the BÜSCHL Group’s holistic ESG approach.
Where is the journey headed?
Sustainable business practices are not a trend, but an obligation. The future will belong to the companies that take ethical and social criteria into consideration and also decouple their growth from resource consumption.
In view of climate change and the current ongoing crises, our goal must be to build in a resource-efficient manner and from 2045 – in keeping with the climate goals of the United Nations and the German federal government – to operate in a climate-neutral way along our entire value chain. As project developers and building contractors, we are duty-bound to protect the environment and the climate, while also fulfilling our responsibility towards our fellow human beings.
